Transform Homes and Yards with The Deck Store

Milton: Party ready deck

This homeowner came to me requesting an oasis that will make them forget they ever considered owning a cottage. They took a liking to combining materials to create balance and interest in a relatively small backyard. I was inspired by their taste in stone and paired it with a more weathered looking composite as well as the natural look of cedar that will give a weathered look in time and complement well.

The gas fireplace was carefully designed to be a coffee table as well as a useful source of heat on colder evenings. I needed to create privacy from a park adjacent to the home, so the cedar bar as well as bench acts as a barrier that is not your basic privacy screen as it also provides other useful design elements to the space.

The greenery is the final touch to bring this natural oasis to life that the homeowners will enjoy all year round!
